Laundry billing FAQ
▸Can I mix per-garment pricing with per-kilogram pricing on the same laundry bill?
Yes. Every line has its own unit — garment, piece, pair, kg, lb, load or a fixed service charge. When you pick kg or lb and enter a weight, that weight becomes the billed quantity for the line.
▸How are item discounts and the order discount combined?
Item discounts are subtracted from each line first. The order-level discount is then applied to the resulting subtotal plus extra charges, so no discount is ever counted twice. The taxable base is reduced proportionally.
▸Does the generator handle pickup and delivery charges separately?
Yes. Express surcharge, pickup, delivery, packaging and a custom special-treatment charge each have their own toggle, and you decide whether taxes apply to them.
▸Can I record an advance payment taken when the garments were collected?
Turn on Advance payment in the Payments section. Advance, partial payments, loyalty credits and refunds are deducted from the total, and any previous balance is added before the amount due.
▸Is the order status a live tracking feature?
No. Statuses such as Washing or Ready for pickup are printed on the document for your customer's reference only — the tool does not track garments or send notifications.
▸Where is my laundry data stored?
Drafts you save in the generator stay in your browser (local storage on this device); clearing your browsing data deletes them. A bill is only sent to our server if you choose “Save to my account” or “Get a share link”.
