Grocery billing FAQ

▸Can I sell by weight or volume?

Yes. Each line has a pricing method: quantity × price per unit, weight × price per weight unit, or a fixed line price. Pick grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces, millilitres or litres as the unit, and the price is applied per that unit. No conversion is performed unless you enter it yourself.

▸Are all groceries taxed automatically?

No. Every product line has a taxable switch and a tax rate selector. You decide which items are taxable and which are exempt, and you set the rate names and percentages — nothing about any country's grocery tax rules is hard-coded.

▸Do I need customer details for a simple shop receipt?

No. Quick receipt mode omits the customer block from both the form and the printed bill, which is ideal for counter receipts. Turn it off for delivery or corporate orders that need addresses and order references.

▸What is the product catalog for?

Save the products you sell most often with their default unit, price and tax treatment, then add them to a bill in one click. The values are copied into the bill at that moment, so editing the catalog later never changes a bill you already issued.

▸How long can a shopping list be?

There is no limit. Long lists continue onto further A4 pages with the table heading repeated and page numbers added.

▸Does the QR code do anything automatic?

It simply encodes text you supply, such as an order reference or a link to your own order tracking page. It does not verify a transaction or process a payment.
